Humanity United Action is a nonpartisan 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing new approaches to global problems that have long been considered intractable like human trafficking, mass atrocities, and violent conflict. It shares this mission with its affiliate, Humanity United, a 501(c)(3) private foundation.

Humanity United Action is governed by a three-person board of directors: Pam Omidyar, Matt Deakin, and Randy Newcomb, who also serves as President of the organization. Humanity United Action is part of The Omidyar Group, which represents the philanthropic, personal, and professional interests of Pam and Pierre Omidyar.
