Humanity United Action is a nonpartisan 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization working to transform harmful systems into pathways for peace, freedom, and justice. We pursue our purpose by advocating directly and with our partners for legislative solutions. We share this purpose with our sister organization, Humanity United, a 501(c)(3) private foundation.

Humanity United Action is governed by a four-person board of directors: Pam Omidyar, Shannon Sedgwick Davis, Susan McCue, and Matt Deakin. Humanity United Action is a part of The Omidyar Group, a collection of mission-driven, independent organizations that support transformative leaders and invest in ideas for a better future.
